I Love Paris

So my relationship history seems to be repeating itself (both times as farce). The second time around hasn’t been any easier and, although I’m not quite willing to leave this one lie in the way I have in the past, things haven’t been too much fun around here, especially with the huge workload, for the past few days. Although work has been progressing swimmingly — I always seem to be able to get my stuff done, sometimes at the expense of more important things it seems — I’ve been a tad frustrated recently. So I took the day off and enjoyed Paris. Here’s what I did:

1) Read (The Sentimental Education if you’re curious) in the Luxembourg gardens
2) Saw the Kandinsky exhibit at the Pompidou centre
3) Ate a pain au chocolat
4) Worked a tad at my favorite cafe
5) Ate a delicious meal that ended with a round of grappa (we went Italian)

I love this city and I feel great right now.
